Where?

The jam is currently located in The Arts Center in Orange - 2nd floor on Main Street in Orange, VA.

The Arts Center politely asks that we do not linger on the sidewalks or outside the Arts Center during Orange jam.

When?

Music starts Friday's at 6:30 PM. There is a $5.00 cover.

What?

Orange jam was started so that musicians who are already playing complete songs and also beginning to arrange music with other musicians, have a place to come together.

Who?

Orange jam is a forum for musicians that have reached the level of completing a full song.

If you are intested in music lessons contact John Kiefer at Orange Music Instruction. John is always available to play with, work with or give instruction to any musician that needs guidance or accompaniment.

If you are just beginning or have not yet begun, but desire to play, please feel free to ask for direction on how to get started. If you are wanting to get into music, we would be interested in getting you on the right track so you may join Orange jam as a musician.

The Orange Jam has ordered Hoodies with several unique options. As soon as we have the first shirts available, we will have them on display. If you are interested, please contact the Orange Jam.

Needed Equipment, Cover Charge

We have discussed many options on how to raise funds for needed equipment. We have tried the donation boxes; even thought there have been those that donate generously, we have not been able to cover expenses. In order to cover expenses and save for equipment, we are going to have to start asking for a cover charge. This will be for everyone, musicians included. The cover charge will be $5.00 per person. Hopefully this will not prevent anyone from attending. Thank you for your understanding.

Orange jam is a great place for kids of all ages to hang out even if you are only there to socialize and enjoy the music.

With this in mind, the Orange jam is always in need of equipment. If your family has any equipment such as amps, drums, guitars or any other equipment and would consider donating to Orange jam, we are most grateful.
